The children at the Emunah Achuzat Sara understand that it’s important to be on the giving side, not only on the receiving end. In honor of Good Deeds Day in Israel, and despite the horrific night that Bnei Brak had just suffered, our children went out the next day to bring hope and a smile to others.
The older children packaged food parcels for needy families for the Ilanei Chesed organization, the intermediate age children baked cakes for lone soldiers, and our younger boys distributed sweets in the Mayanei Hayeshua Hospital.
Our children certainly believe that “a little bit of light dispels a lot of darkness.”
