Testing Times at Emunah Achuzat Sara

Only one week into the new school year and already we are dealing with the harsh reality of the coronavirus in the Emunah children’s homes.  In Emunah Bet Saba Elazraki in Netanya, children and a member of staff have had to be quarantined off of the main campus.  At Emunah Achuzat Sara children’s home in Bnei Brak, a group of children and a counselor tested positive and it means the whole home is now in quarantine! The Ministry of Health sent in a team of testers to check every single child and member of staff.  For any child this is a scary and uncertain time.  For the children in Emunah’s care it is particularly hard.  We work hard to provide  the children with stability and consistency to conteract the chaotic and often traumatic experiences they have had before they came to Emunah.  It’s not easy but everyone is working hard to keep the children happy and calm.
