There are 11 English speaking Chapters in various areas of Israel who all strive to raise funds for Emunah and support their chosen Emunah Projects. Six Chapters are in the Jerusalem area and details of all areas are given below.
All Chapters organise their own programmes throughout the year, although there are joint events such as various Yomei Iyun, the National Quiz, and National Volunteers’ Day where members come from all over the country to meet people they haven’t seen for a year, enjoy a wonderful luncheon, listen to a Guest Speaker, and honour one of their Chapter members.
Most Chapters arrange fundraisers such as Rosh Hashana Greetings and some have a Purim Mishloach Manot Project, and sell tickets for LOGON productions. Other fundraising events include Chapter luncheons or dinners with a Guest Speaker, fashion shows, concerts, book sales, film screenings, White Elephant Sales etc. Chapters arrange regular monthly meetings with Guest Speakers on subjects related to Jewish and topical subjects. One of the Chapters has a Mitzvah Cake at most meetings where members light a candle and make a donation for happy occasions or in memory of someone. That same Chapter’s major fundraiser is organising and publishing the annual Emunah Calendar and also raising funds for food parcels for the under privileged families in the Gedera and Gan Yavne Maonot for Rosh Hashana and Pesach.
The National Board meets once every two months at our Tel Aviv office which gives Chapters a chance to decide on new programmes, discuss what they have done recently and explore ways to bring in new members.
Our events calendar is updated weekly. To become a member please contact Evelynne Goldman, details below.
