Third year students of the Graphic Design Department at the Emunah Appleman College of Art and Technology participated in a competition, to design posters for the 70th Anniversary of Israel's independence, organized by the World Zionist Organization.
The aim of the competition was to reflect each student's view of the State of Israel while connecting the past and present.
The competition was judged by, Avraham Duvdevani, Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, Rabbi Yechiel Wasserman, Head of the Center for Spiritual Services in the Diaspora and Yitzhak Stiglitz, Department for Spiritual Services in the Diaspora.
The three winners are: Hodaya Reinhanyan, Avia Skitel and Hanna Gelfer. In addition to the winning posters, all of the posters designed by the students were sent to Jewish Communities all over the world as part of an educational program.
The ceremony took place in the presence of Professor Shmuel Sandler and Amos Safrai – President and Director of the Emunah Appleman College.
To quote Yigal Gross, the head of the Department of Graphic Design, "The students from the Graphic Design Department prove time and time again their high standards and ability to provide solutions of modern design for a developing digital society.
